Our Team

Dr. Anika Ramolia is known for her warm, thoughtful approach and genuine passion for helping others see clearly and live fully. Whether she’s treating a long-time patient or welcoming someone new, she takes time to listen, connect, and provide care that’s personal, thorough, and rooted in years of advanced training. Dr. Ramolia earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2008, followed by a residency at the Boston Veterans Administration Medical Center in Brockton and Worcester, MA. During her residency, she specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, with a special focus on glaucoma, diabetic-related eye conditions, and vascular disease.

As a Board Certified Optometrist, Dr. Ramolia stays actively involved in the field through memberships in the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, and the California Optometric Association. She’s committed to staying up to date with the latest in eye care so she can provide the best possible treatment for every patient.

But what truly sets Dr. Ramolia apart is her belief in building lasting relationships. She loves caring for patients of all ages—kids, parents, grandparents—and takes pride in creating a welcoming space where everyone feels heard, supported, and empowered to take charge of their eye health.  

Outside the office, Dr. Ramolia loves spending time in Carlsbad with her husband, their two boys, and Boston Terrier named Buddy. 

Ellyn is our exceptional optician and eye care specialist. With her experience and passion for providing personalized care, Ellyn is committed to helping new patients achieve their best vision. She understands that choosing the right glasses can be overwhelming, which is why she takes the time to listen to your unique needs and preferences. With Ellyn's expert guidance, you can trust that you'll receive top-notch recommendations tailored to your lifestyle. Her friendly demeanor and attention to detail create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our patients.

Ellyn has received her Associates in Business Administration and an additional Associates in Behavioral Social Sciences from MiraCosta College. She has transferred to Cal State University San Marcos to finish her Bachelors in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and Organization. She ultimately hopes to go to Optometry school. Ellyn resides in Oceanside with her husband and two girls. 

Kacy is a Board Certified Optician who understands the importance of finding the perfect frame. Having worn glasses since she was eight years old, Kacy is no stranger to the optical world. Choosing the right combination of frame and lenses can seem daunting, but Kacy uses her years of experience to educate and inform patients on what will best fit their needs. 

Kacy graduated summa cum laude from Concordia University Irvine in 2021 with bachelors in Liberal Arts and Communications and a minor in Theatre. After working in many different types of optical settings, she is glad to settle at Beacon Optometry where she can make genuine connections with patients and treat them like family. Kacy grew up in San Diego County and currently lives in Escondido with her engineer husband, Chris, and their cat, Miss Kitty.
